The glans urethra is here seen closed off enclosing within it a. plug of desquamating epithelium. Note the continuity of the glans tissue with the mesodermal tissue of the prepuce at the frenulum, and the V-shaped line of fusion between the two sides of the prepuee epithelium on its ventral aspect.
