Breed Genetics
Genetically distinct subpopulations based on patterns of allele frequencies. Four distinct previously described (Parker HG, etal, 2004) clusters are shown in the 4 coloured circles, which also show breed members of each group.
Breed Variation Dog Breed Morphology
A range of different dog breed morphologies are shown. The coloured boxes indicate the ratio of height at the shoulder to weight of typical males.
(A) proportionately long, thin legs
(B) shorter, thicker bones
