Developing Heart Valve Histology and Gene Expression
Human fetal (GA week 11) fetal outflow tract and semilunar valve.
- red arrow - points to elastic fibers (black) within the large arteries.
- blue arrow - no elastin-containing fibers are visible in the semilunar leaflet.
