Human Vaginal Smear - Secretory
(Stain - Papanicolaou)
- (day 15 - 22) stratum spinosum cells (blue) which are folded or with curled edges, appear immediately after ovulation due to increase in progesterone.
- Leukocytes (small black cells) becoming more numerous.
