Male Gametogenesis cartoon

- meiosis phases
- genetic recombination - crossing over (Prophase 1) Independent assortment of chromosomes (meiosis 1)
- Newly formed spermatids are joined by cytoplasmic bridges.
- Spermatogenesis refers to the round haploid spermatid morphological change to the mature spermatozoa shape.
