Lymph Node Histology - Macrophages

(Stain - Haematoxylin Eosin) carbon injected.

Macrophages take up the carbon and appear black with this technique.

Slide shows the distribution of macrophages in lymph nodes.


Most of the macrophages are located in the paracortex and medulla.
