This page is a link to the lecture material provided in Session 2 2005. The majority of links take you to a lecture page with an introduction to the topic and links to Acrobat versions of the slides, as well as additional links to online resources.
As this is the current 2005 course, not all lectures have been presented and therefore slides are not available. For a complete lecture series look at the earlier 2004 version of ANAT2300 and ANAT2310

Grievances: If you have any complaints about the course, you should first try to resolve them with the Course Organizer. If the matter cannot be resolved in this way, you should contact the Department Grievance Officer, currently Dr. P. Pandey.
Objectives: This is a new course (2005) combining earlier courses ANAT2300 and ANAT2310 into a single session. The course will cover early embryonic then fetal development through to birth, including the developmental anatomy of the organ systems. The course will examine the common principles and differences that underlie normal and abnormal development of vertebrates. Emerging technologies, such as genomic analysis and the use of transgenic and dysfunctional mouse mutants in research, will be covered.
Online Course: The Lecture and Laboratory content is supported by the online resource UNSW Embryology (available at the address below). The new version (4.5) is also available on CD ($15) from the Anatomy office.
The Class Notes page will have links to each set of Lecture slides that can be printed 4/page or viewed 1/page.
Currently the WebCT site is not being used for provision of course content. If you have questions about course content you should email the course coordinator.
