Introduction

There are a number of historic educational movies about development and human reproduction. Note that these are "historic" movies and accuracy of content or description should be checked against current literature. Listed below in chronological order are links too and descriptions of these movies.

Please note that latest version of Quicktime is required and also the relatively large size (Mb) of some movies will effect download and viewing.

Movie ratings should be checked to ensure suitability for student age.

Development of a Salamander (circa 1920)

Day at the River: A Film Lesson in Nature Study (1928)

Immunization (1955)
