This is the Labelled set of figures from the first Embryology Class (Lab 3) that relate to key concepts in Fertilization and Early Development.

In Lab 3 you worked through images that took you through: fertilization, implantation (normal and abnormal), development of fetal membranes and chambers, early placentation, the third week of development, the trilaminar embryo and early embryo axis formation.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Images are locked and cannot be altered or printed. Images can be opened, downloaded and viewed. Clicking on the small images in the table will open the large labelled images. Figures require Acrobat Reader to open.
